Painting the mudguards

I am getting my car painted within this next week. I'm having them paint the front lip and sides too, and I was wondering if I should paint the guards too or leave them black? I dunno if it'd look retarded or not. Opinions or pictures appreciated. Thank you!

Just take them off.. looks cleaner with out them. I'd say paint them if your going to leave it on. That why you won't have any of the black color around the bottom of the car..

Thanks for your opinions! My car right now is Milano red, but she's getting painted San Marino red. I love that color! I'll put up before and after pics when she's done.

Thanks for the pics guys! I'm definitely digging that red pic, because I'm getting the Rays TE-37's and that picture looks similar. I have decided to paint them. Thanks!

I will. She'll be so pretty. Right now I have on clears and the USDM lights, but after the paint, on go the JDM's and the 92-93 all ambers. I'm excited. But I have another question. Should I shave all the badging? I like my VTEC sticker on the back, but it'd be a bigger surprise to people if they didn't know what I have, you know? Hmmmm, all the possibilities......

Keep them, I actually bought the rears from Mark94. The car stays FAR FAR cleaner with them. I think it makes the car look slightly lower as well, I LIKE the way they look.

I painted mine the only problem with painting them is that some times you scrape them on speed bumps, drive ways...etc and it created a bunch of little cracks in the paint.
