I've found that by reading through nearly 2 dozen threads on this board regarding hi flow cat, any brand is ok, as long as it does what you want:

1)Do you want/need to be street legal?
2)Are you concerned about the increased fumes/smell?
3)Do you care what it sounds like?

If no to all three questions, then just get/make a test pipe.

If yes to any, make sure that whatever brand is an actually catalytic converter and not just an 'EXHAUST RESONATOR' that is marketed as a high flow cat.

Another concern is that whether you have access to a welder, most of the time, you can get away with just a universal brand which is 20-40% cheaper than a 'direct fit'....although the story is that Powercore doesn't actually make a real direct fit according to some members of this board.

Lot of guys will swear by Random Tech, but they also cost alot.

IMO, I would go for the cheapest high flow cat, I've found that CATCO on summit is about $60 and is also street legal, which also means that you won't smell the nasty stuff at every stop light. Ractive also makes one but it's just an exhaust resonator. If Pacesetter is cheap (they usually are) then, go for it.

Good luck.
