Instead of spending more than double on pretty stainless headers or chrome headers i bought the 140 dollar black Pacesetter headers because i intend to keep my valve cover black and it would match but i was wondering if anyone had an idea of what kind of gain you get from aftermarket headers
i think DC Sports claims something like 6-7 hp to the wheels. i myself have the DC Sports 4-2-1 header and i noticed a great power gain in my mid RPM range. i have heard that a Pacesetter wont give u much gains at all. on carreview.com i read about a guy putting on a Chikara header and then later buying a DC Sport header. he said that he noticed an great amount of HP gains when he installed the DC in place of the Chikara. remember this in the world of cars: "u get what u pay for"

take care,

Well it goes back to the logic that headers are headers, as long as they are not fully racing headers then it's really the same way. Does DC sports have a special lubricant making exhaust gases travel faster? or are you just a total moron?
ouch. sorry if i told you what i researched before i bought my header. i guess that does make me a total idiot for telling you what i have gathered from my reading of reviews on different headers. i thought i could at least try to give you an idea of what other headers give in horsepower gains.
Why are you being an a$$hole? You asked a question, and he answered it, what the hell else do you want? Headers AREN'T headers, you DO get what you paid for, and you bought a piece of sh*t header. Don't ask anymore questions if you're going to be a prick when somebody answers you.
