if this idea works...i have 2 choices, which one is better

1. get my friends P14 5 speed ecu and buy a VAFC for 300 and use that
2. get a p13 ecu off ebay for about 300

it will cost me about the same money for both but with 1 i get a VAFC which i would have to spend more money to get it dyno tuned

even if it did work, you'd have a low rev limiter, and wrong fuel maps.

but you can set the fuel with the vafc but you would have to change the rev limiter somehow.

it would also not work because of timing, the timing is advanced on a vtec ecu...it jumps between timing maps for the 2 cam profiles...i tried the p14 with the vafc...vtec worked, but when u hit the rev limiter at 6800...boy that sucks...and it didnt pull as hard...peace
