p13 ecu, IAB secondary butterflies - Honda Prelude Forum

I've got a h22 motor in my '97 civic, and it idles like crap using the 'lude ecu. I switched (for grins) to my apare p28 ecu, and it idles great.

My EGR may not be wired correctly, so would that cause the problem because the p28 doesn't look for an EGR, or do you think my prelude ECU is screwed?

Also, I wired up the secondaries (IAB) and at idle, the plug that goes into the IAB solenoid reads voltage, but it doesn't open... is my IAB fried?

Is it giving you any CEL codes?

well, when I didn't have the EGR wired at all, it wouldn't give me a code until I took it out for a test drive (5-10 minutes). I haven't done that yet with the new wiring, so I'm not sure
