yeah maybe it's different for the 5th gens but somone posted in the writeup to go counter clockwise, it wasn't the writer though someone else. i was able to get the nut off but the whole deal is ruined. the nut scraped my pulley up somehow and all of the teeth on the pulley were sheered off. now i gotta get a new pump...i don't feel like rebuilding mine.
so for future reference....i should probably follow the helms manual next time
