Oxygen sensor

ok, i've called 2 dealers and they both want $205 - $210 for an O2 sensor... i was thinking of maybe buying a bosch or namebrand one at a local parts store to save $$$. any problems associated w/ this? (other than the lack of a wiring harness)

You could buy the cheaper one, but if it fails and you end up buying a genuine part you will have wasted your hard earned cash.

For parts such as this, I just bite the bullet and go for OE parts to be on the safe side.

But you would buy a CD for $10 that costs 50 cents to make?
That's just the way it is.

I have my old one from my vtec lude. I replaced it while I was trying to diagnose a problem and it was still good. If you want it or need it, I will give it to you for $25 shipped. Let me know what you think, because if you need it ASAP it will buy you some time before you have to buy a brand new one.

I have hook-ups at a Honda dealer... I cant imagine shipping would be that much.

Which engine, year...? I'll see what I can get it for.

go to Hondaautomotiveparts.com and buy it for about 150. The price is cheap, but the quality is ton better than the crappy bosch units, and it will last a lot longer.
