How tight should i tighten it and how can i tell??

im just using a plug socket and extension, so i dunno how tight to tighten em...

does anyone have an idea??

what i did was screwed in the plug lightly by hand and at the point where i needed to tighten it with more force, i gave it a half a turn from that point.

is that right?

two-thirds of a turn after contact.

contact is when it starts to get tight right?

i spun the ratchet with my finger till it got tight, then tighted 1/2 turn after that.

thats what i did, so i do all that but turn 2/3 then right???
