Over Heating At Idle...

okay, so i think i have come to a conclusion for my overheating issue.
i think it may be my fans in the car.
i checked to see if they were on when i got home, but i didnt see anything spining, i know one is an AC fan cause when i push the butt the left fan (facing the engine from the front of the car) turns on but not the other. i dont think i've even seen it on.
do i need a new fan motor or what?

Could be a couple of things. The fan motor could be bad, your temp switch could be bad, your fan relay could be bad, or the fan timer could be bad.

Standing in front of the engine bay the fan on your right is for the a/c, the larger fan on the left is your radiator cooling fan. When you turn on the a/c both should be running.
From what I read the left fan works. This tells me the fan isn't turning on at idle when the coolant gets hot, so most likely your temp switch or relay is bad. If your a/c fan isn't turning on either you have more problems.

so im guessing its a bad idea to drive in its condition.. but i still need to get around..
if i drive as is for now, and the AC is on, will it slow down the process?
and how much would it cost to get the temp switch or relay fixed?

no... just make sure you keep going fast and don't stop... It will keep it cool.... lol..... take a power drill batt and connect to your fan electical connecter (the part that connects to the fan motor. If the motor doesn't spin, change the fan motor.
