guy in front of me slammed on his brakes...he was in a 93 maxima...I slammed on mine..my front end went under his back end..scratched his bumper and bent his tail pipe a lil I got the raw end of the deal =(
Well you are looking at about 4.5- 5k in damage based on a rough guess. You need a front clip minus the left fender, which is about 2k. Luckily you hit high and didnt set off the air bags. Glad you are ok.
Ouch is an understatement...the reason i say that is that it looks like you have frame damage....anyones that experienced that knows that anything that has to do with the frame of the car is really expensive to repair and straighten...good luck with it...

not a laughing matter, but lol, isn't that how it always goes? The other car gets out fine, and it's always a car that is easier to replace than yours. Sorry dude, I hope you get a good deal outta this.
well it may not be as bad as it looks. He did hit high so his frame may not have any damage. It looks like the top section there will need some alteration. But his drivers side fender looks good. If he goes with a CF hood then he technically does not have to get it painted. he could get a used front bumper cover and 1 or 2 used stock lights or go with the jdms.
But i guess that still will run him $1500 plus.
I think i could have that top area cleaned up with about 1 hour with a mallet and crow bar. Getting the hood latch lined up perfectly may take some adjustment, but again with a CF hood and some Hood pins it wouldnt matter.
That radiator wont be cheap. You can get an alluminum for under 400$ and an ebay one for cheap.
Looking at that front fender it may be repairable. I dont really have that good of a pic to look at but they shouldnt be too bad.
That front bumpercover is dead, if you search the board here maby you can find one thats your color and save you on painting costs.
And for headlights, you can get 1 piece jdms for under 400$, so im sure you can pick 1 or 2 stockers up for almost nothing.
But i guess if the insurance is taking care of it then i dont think they will total it out. You should be able to get at least $6k for your car.

As far as the bumper goes, I know Tannie bought one on ebay a while back, I think he said I would sell it, but your bumper doesn't look that bad though.

lol mark...when i saw you posted I was like "I bet he says something like Im glad he didnt get my car " =0...which is one of the reasons I didnt buy your car...because its sooooo clean I knew with my luck I would somehow manage to F*ck it up =/...but yeah as it stands...Im looking at CF hood...jdm one peice head lights...wwrs from lip kit...Also as per my first accident with the trucker...insurance is almost worked out on that...my totals bills came too about $6k...so the insurance company offered me twice that...12K....my dad (who is handling all this) told them I want 5x that amount....and we are waiting to see if they agree or counter offer...Im Im going to come out way ahead on that deal...
that sux man. I had a similar accident a couple of years ago and it cost my insurance company around $4800 for the repair. As long as the repairs do not exceed the trade in value of the car, you should be OK.
Time For JDM headlights!
