Didn't Keith or someone here make solid motor mounts also? Instead of inserts?
Or was that another board?

Well I got them in.. A few problems..

1)Did not come with hardware as advertised.. No need for it, but it's advertised WRONG!

2)Seems to have come with 60A durometer urethane based on color and pics of others on their website. It is red, their pics for 60A for other mounts is red, and shows black for 75 on their website, which is what these mounts are PICTURED with..

3)Rear motor mount bolt holes are the WRONG SIZE. I had to drill them out to 1/2" to get the bolts to fit through, not sure what crack they are smoking over there?!

4) The front bolt on the rear motor mount is almost impossible to get in. You cannot use a ratchet/extension/socket because the damn mount overhangs over the hole and you will crossthread the nut on the crossbrace. i almost did this belt felt things getting real hard, so I backed off. After about 5 hours, and having to go buy a very short "snub" 17mm wrench and half breaking my wrists to get to the bolt, I got it started and all the way in.. Now I am in the process of getting the cross bolt in..

These mounts damn well better PERFORM or I am going to be royally pissed and will never buy another Innovative product, thats for sure. They are a complete ***** to install for the above reasons.

I will update on their performance.

Well there really is no other alternative, ES inserts are great, but if you have the need for solid urethane mounts then ya gotta get em. I'm gonna go try to get that last bolt in!

I also tried filling my stock motor mounts with urethane, still did not work that well for me.. I also tried inserts combined with filled side mounts, along with a torque/engine damper and my motor still moved a ton, enough to cause my WG to hit my hood and dent it , probably a good 2-4" vertically (spectators said they saw my hood jumping up and down on the driver side at launch

I took it out tonight and DANG they are nice.. a slightly tad bit more vibration that with inserts, but so solid.. I can tell a difference in shifts and especially starting out in first.. no launch abuse yet though..

The only reason I see why you would need these is if:

A: you don't have a front motor mount b/c of turbo placement

AND/OR

B: you are putting down 300+ whp

C: you are a track/strip junkie and have to have the best

For the normal street prelude that has all 4 mounts in place, inserts will do perfectly fine imo..

Aside from fitment/installation problems (minor I guess you could say), these seem to be great mounts.. the lifetime warranty helps too!
