Original Owner?

Just out of sheer curiosity, how many of you are the original owner of your 4th gen.?

The only thing I would have changed if I were the original owner of my 'lude, is that I would have gotten a VTEC. Other than that, everything else is EXACTLY how I would have bought it from the dealer.

I did, however, buy mine from the original owner.

What about you?

Then why didn't you search for a VTEC? I bought my VTEC off the original owner, it was very well maintained.

The only thing that I didn't like was that he took off the VTEC sticker as soon as he brought the car home

I didn't search for a VTEC because I hadn't even planned on buying a used car at the time. When I purchased my car, I was living in Germany (Air Force) and I saw this Prelude for sale on base. USDM Preludes hard to find in Germany So, I stopped to look at it (out of curiosity), and couldn't believe how incredibly maintained it was, and how low the mileage on it was. The price was WAY too good to pass up, so I bought it.

Had I been in the market for a used Prelude, I would have no doubt searched out a VTEC, but that simply wasn't the case.

So, that's why.
