opinions on original fit suspension please

Hi all,

My preludes suspension seems really hard. I know we own sports cars here but when I drive on a regular british country road, any bumps or grate covers shake the car more than i would expect. Would you say that the orig spec susp is a little on the hard side anyway?
Is it worth investing in a set of new springs and shocks or a lowering kit (though this will still be quite hard I would have thought?)
I have the tyre pressures at 32 front 42 rear as michelin recommends.
Your opinions would be much appreciated.

Scarer.

stick with stock

howdy,

Your stock setup would probably be the softest. Most aftermarket springs/shocks are made stiffer or the same as stock.
I'm currently riding on stock, and I do think the stiffness is just the characteristic of our sports car. Guess we gotta do with it if we want the great handling.
Maybe its the air pressure in your tires too. I have mine set at 34psi on all four tires(205/55/15). 42 is maybe too much for a street setup...unless "42" represents some other measurement besides psi. hope this helps

Jimmy
