Opinion on tokico blue struts and coil overs...

My friend just wrecked his lude and is willing to sell them to me for 375, they were only on the car for a month...what do you think? Hows the ride? Buy them or go with the KYB AGX or tokico illumina struts and H&R sport springs?

i have tokico blues and neuspeed...and the blues have less than 600 miles on them. I used to be on stock shocks and neuspeed sport springs (well the car had them for about 3 years) and i drove in them for 1 year. so the difference from stock shocks to tokico blues were day and night. handles oh so much better, much smoother and definitely worth the investment. if he's selling you the blues ofr 375...that's a rip off. i got mine for 290 including tax.

the ride is just right in my opinion. not too stiff, but not too soft. just enough to be able to keep the car planted on hard turns and emergency lane changes.

I heard the blue's isnt a good option with lowering springs. Its mainly for stock ride height.

he was going to sell me the struts and (cheep) coil overs for 375. I talked to him earlier and just found out that the coil overs were "cheep", so I'm not going to buy the coil overs.

What do ya'll think about H & R sport springs and KYB AGX or tokico illumina struts?

the agx or the illumina's should be fine. i hear more of the agx than the illuminas..and no complaints what so ever. same with the h&r's. i have a friend that has the h&r springs on the tokico blues, and they're awesome.

anyway, if i were you, and you want the adjustability, i'd go with whichever is cheaper. if price is too close to choose b/w them...then go with the kyb's and the h&r springs.

my $.02
