Go behind where the stereo is and look for a blue plug. Stick a paperclip in it to jump the circuit. Then get the code from the car. The CEL will blinks. One long flash=10 and a short flash=1. Post up what code you are throwing. From there is should be easier to figure out. My guess is you bumped in or did something while installing the kit or maybe it is having some problem with the tps.

Nice info Satan!

Hey did you ever find out more about your tranny leak? You said you were going to have it looked at while having something else taken care of.

Thanks!

Mark

when I installed mine I had the same problem.. did you tap the Red TPS wire? Did you make sure you clipped the TPS back onto the throttle body securely? What about your vacuum hoses, are they on tight... are you sure you ran them correctly? Look everything over. Let us know.

i found that I broke the clip off of the TPS, so it was unable to stay connected to the throttle body... this was nothing a little black tape couldnt fix.

Hows the car running? does it feel ok? If it does, just reset your ecu and see if the malfunction indicator lamp disappears. Reset the ecu by opening the hood and pulling the clock/radio fuse. Leave the fuse out for about a minute or so then put it back in. Start the car and see if the light returns.

Let me know if this works. -P
