oil in spark plugs - Honda Prelude Forum

hey kinda new to this whole thing but tryn so give me a break,
i have a 92 prelude si h23a1. i went to change out my plugs and found oil....ALOT. I checked the compression im still runnin bout 175 psi in each..... any ideas?

bad ring seal or improperly sealing valves

The upper tube seals normally leak when they are old and try. Oil from the head just goes through and ends up where the spark plugs meet the plug wires. Get a valve cover gasket set and it will come with the seals.

im loosing a bit of oil and with no leaks would it be burning in the plugs? should i replace plugs and wires when i change out the gasket and seals?
