For the oil pan gasket, did you guys use any hondabond on it? I saw in helms it specifys two points that need liquid sealant but does anyone actually use that?

use ultraflange on the oil pan, its stronger than hondabond

I used some of the blue stuff that all the auto parts stores sell... Hmm, maybe it was the reddish one. I forgot. Definitely used some kind of sealant.

oh ok thanks guys. I heard some people dont even put sealant but ill make sure to use some. I might just give my car to honda and let them deal with it. I hope they are smart enough to use some sealant

I wouldn't even chance not using sealant. If the manual says to do it, I'd do it.

i didnt use sealant, i guess i overlooked it. then again i didnt use the manual.....
