My oil light comes on whenever i turn hard to the left and break (figure about 1g total force)... just curious as to what you guys think? low oil? pump? the light turns off immediately afterwards...

thank you in advance.

the oil light comes on when you have no oil pressure which is a major problem. my guess is that you are so low on oil that when you turn hard the oil goes to the side of the pan enough that there is no oil near the oil pump to pump.

Ummmm, Sorry to hear your problems but really have you checked your oil and is there a reason you brake so hard going left..because our alum engines dont do too well with a low supply of oil!!!! And another thing you can cause too much oil pressure by adding an extra quart hear and there. If your unsure I'd bring to a mechanic!!!

do an oil change, fill the car with the right amount of oil and see if it still does it.

If I were you I'd stop driving and bring it to a mechanic asap. Running your car w/o oil is bad
