I need wires for my 92Si, what would you say is better, OEM spark plug wires or NGK ones? I hear the stock ones are made by NGK and they are the same, can anyone verify this? Same diameter etc????

I'm running NGK right now and I cannot tell the difference. They look identical. I would just what ever I find that's cheaper out of the 2.

As far as I know OEM wires are not made by NGK. NGK spark plugs ARE oem though.

stock wires are ngk. and i believe they are 8mm. if your ignition system is otherwise stock, you will not gain anything from a larger diameter.

The stock ones are 7.5mm and the NGK ones are 8mm and they look a little better.

They should both perform the same though.

Personally I would go with Accel's 300+ series. I noticed a difference with the wires alone, a very noticable one. I even tried them with new NGK's back to back, the difference was pretty amazing. Especially because when I did that my Accel wires had around 20K miles on them.
