OEM foglight switch

I'm going to use it to switch on my JDM headlight foglights.

There are 4 pins on the fog light switch. But on the harness there are only 3 wires. red/yel, red/grn, and orange.

Did the OEM foglight acessory from honda come with another pin connector wire?

Here's the diagram. It shows a black wire going connected to a ground. Is this a the wire I'm missing from the harness? How many wires did everyone have. I also don't see an orange wire in the schematic. I'm guessing the orange goes to the dimmer relay?

I'm just trying to wire it to use it as a regular on/off switch. I've got the led to light up. But I can't get the switch to have outgoing power from it. I may be missing something not being able to get it to work.

I won't be using the stock harness. I'm going to run it directly to the battery using thicker wire. I've tried the search function - this has never been brought up.

The lights will be brighter than using stock wiring. Also, I will be using less wire to run power to the bulbs from the battery/alternator so my voltage drop would be lower than stock. Basically - I want as much juice to the bulbs without losing it along the way. Try rewiring your headlights to take power directly from the battery or alternator, you will notice a good improvememtn in lighting just because of the rewiring.

i just got my wiring for my jdm fogs. this is a good question. i have:
switch
subharness
relay

apparently, this is all you need to get your fogs working. except mine don't work. in mine (a 92), there's a 4 pin brown connector under the dash. you plug the subharness into that. ok fine.

then the relay plugs into the other end of the harness. ok got that.

then you ground the relay using the bolt to hold the cruise control unit to the chassis. ok did that just fine.

then up top, there's a 10 pin connector (green) that feeds up behind the tweeter grill. ok i found that. that connector is all that plugs into the switch.

plugged it in, turned on the car, but i couldn't even get the led to come on. there's no power getting to it!

i checked for a fuse - there's a 15A fuse in the kickpanel fuse box. that's there and intact. i checked under the hood and there's no additional fuse. just a big 40A relay for the lighting and 2 20A fuses for each headlight.

what am i missing? i can't figure out which of your harnesses is cut and why. on mine, everything plugged up, but i'm getting no power to anything? can anyone help?

I am in this same situation, did you ever figure it out, can you tell me what color wire the green plug that goes to the tweeter switch are? ...can you help me out, here is my problem:
Well today I attempted to install my OEM fogs into my 92Si but ran into a problem.. I got the actual lights on fine, not too hard just time consuming and I also got the relay on near the steering column but I could not fine the harness that the switch is suppose to be attached to. The 92 had the fog switch on the driver side tweeter and that’s what I have but I can not locate the harness that plugs into it…in the mess of wires near the tweeter I managed to find one blue plug and one black one but both are too big and its obvious would not fit…then after tearing my dash apart I found what I thought was the right one, a green one that actually fit the switch but when I tried to turn them on…nothing so I assume that this green plug only fits the switch but is not the correct one, can some please help me this is driving me crazy…someone who has done this install please help me or some one who bought their car with them already on can you please remove the tweeter and tell me what plug is going into the switch…what color, # of wires, colors of wires, etc..or maybe even a pic or two…I am just about to give up on this install so anyone that has ANY insight please advise me!!!!
Thanks,
Mario
