OEM Alarm problem need help

Ok i have been losing range on my oem alarm and now its to the point where i have to stand right next to my drivers side door and press the buttin on my remote several times for it to work. I have changed the battery in my remote and still no change. Anyone have any thoughts?

Try a new remote. Same thing happened to me.

Its fixed now. The remote cost me about 50 after shipping

That would be a start. One other thing is that you have to reprogram the remote. For my alarm, I had to hold in the valet switch for 2 seconds until it flashed. I then pushed the arm button on the remote and that finished the reprogramming. Some alarms may be different.
