odd problems

well i have a few problems with my current 92 prelude... first one is that when its hot out or if i have been driving for a long time and i shut the car off, when i try and turn it back on my drive light (the light that says my car is in gear >.>) blinks. sometimes my car wont start when this happens, sometimes it will. When it does start my reverse works fine but my 1,2,3, and 4th gear have almost no power. Im not sure if any1 has had this problem it seems to have started after the f22 motor was put in. and yeah i have an auto tranny but i dont like it.

other problem. I have been shopping around for a new(er) prelude and i definitely want a 92-96 BUT i cant find much difference between the years and i also thought about buying one from canada (ay its abut freedom ay) i found some cheaper prices up there but i was wondering if it makes a difference? i think i read an article from wikipedia about it and it didnt help me much.

on the second questions, yea they didnt change dramatically from the physical body...but in the engine it did. s,si,vtec models all with the same body. so it depends your budget and your plans with the car. IE, get a cheap 92 s with an f22 and swap a h22 in or just buy the vtec model off the bat and save swapping...

There's a problem with your tranny if that drive light is blinking it. Should be a way to get the code to see what its related to. That I don't know.
