odd electrical problems....

OK, so my car has been doing some weird stuff lately....and all at once.

I installed an Infinity Basslink, exactly how the directions stated in the basslink and amp kit instructions, and now i'm not sure if they were like this before, but my trunk and dome lights dont work, and my runninglight/turnsignals (the ones that come on with the first light switch) dont work, and now my windows wont do the thing where they will still be able to be rolled up after the car is off before you open a door. They've stopped doing that. Any hints? I'm not sure if these are all related or happened exactly after my basslink install. but any help you can give would be great. thanks

surely all of those are not on one fuse? could multiple ones have blown out at once?
I would have gone down to check, but it's been raining the past 2 days, and hasnt been the best weather to keep my door open to check the fuse box

-where did you connect 12V contstant? (It should be run all the way to the battery. 8GA wire minimum)
-where did you connect 12V IGN/Remote turn-on? (should br ran to blue or blue/wht at stereo, or another alternate IGN circuit if you're using OE stereo)
-where is it grounded?

sounds like you might have a grounding problem. If you tried to connect ground or another wire in the trunk on another circuit, that could cause some of the problems you are describing. Other than that, assuming you ran a dedicated power wire from the battery, you should check your wire routing. Depending on where you came through the firewall, you may have accidently cut or pinched some other wires along the way from the battery to the amp.

-i ran the 12v all the way to the battery, it is not in contact with any wires
-i connected the remote turn on correctly
-it's grounded on the bolt in the middle of the two rear tail lights, there is another grounding wire running into this bolt. Should I move my basslink ground wire to a empty bolt on the frame?

It's finally not raining and I have time to check my fuses today, someone told me it could be my "interior lights" fuse, because it controlls the dome lights and the parking lights....

Yes, I would remove the ground you have it on and go to chassis ground. There are some good 10 and 12mm bolts that hold the back seat frame that would nicely. Just do not connect where other grounds are present (like taillights, etc)
Check all your fuses to be on the safe side. I think once you change your ground you will probably be ok.

good luck
