Ok mine went out on my car about a week ago and i purchased a dist. from todd from NTPOG. anyways the dist. is a type s dist. which i found out is obd2. will this still work on my car?? also it has one connector and mine has 2 so what am i suppose to do about that?? thanks

Sorry to have bad news but there is really no way that one will work. The OBD-I dist have three crank sensors in them and the OBD-II have none so it won't work.

You are really out of luck. The only way to make it work is to rewire the distribitor, which I could show you how to do, but the only problem is that it won't fit. Bolts DO NOT line up. You can change the housing from your old distribitor, but that is a PITA. Let me know

You don't necessarily need a JDM dist.

Well ive heard to much mixed stuff about jdm ones and usdm ones and my mechanic told me to make the usdm work i would have to do a lot of wiring, and the brackets dont match up, and i have to find a place to mount the coil. i have my h23 one in my trunk but i dunno how to do it so i guess im just going to find a jdm one.
