O2 sensor question

i think the gas milege of my car is quite bad, i already changed fuel filter, disp. cap and rotor, plugs and wires, now i am thinking of changing o2 sensor

i went to www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and it listed 3 different parts of o2 sensor and they add up like $300, do i need all 3?

i am thinking of buy NGK o2 sensor, anyone has experience w/ it?

I bought a 4-wire bosch universal one locally for $80. seems to work fine for me, I still get around 28mpg highway. I think if your car is 96 or later you might need to replace more than one because of the obdII, but for 95 and earlier I'm pretty sure you just need one.

Just to let you know the VTEC NTK sensor is univeral so you have to splice in the harness from your old one. I bought one and should be installing it this weekend. I know the Si one comes with a harness, I've heard NTK is good but to stay away from the Bosch universal.

Then just buy the NTK one from Nopi, it's like $65 and is plug-n-play.

Just do a search, a member posted about installing one. E-mail them for specifics.

Oh, I didn't realize you had an OBD II car. The price for the OBD I sensor is $65. Since you aren't getting a code there's no way to know which one is bad. You can replace one and hope it fixes the problem.
