O2 sensor and megan racing headers

Okay fellas,

This is my problem. I bought a new exhaust system, full Megan racing. Not my first choice, in fact my 4th but budget and a hella good deal on the full system, headers to tip, made me buy. Anyway to the point. I am taking the stock O2 sensor and trying to screw it into the Megan racing but it will not fit!!! Are there different thread O2 sensors? Will an aftermarket sensor actaully fit? Am I just having a retard mechanic moment? I do not really get what I am doing wrong there. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Megan is cheap junk, so it's possible that the O2 port is simply the wrong size/thread/pitch.

Best bet is to go to a muffler shop and test fit your O2 sensor into a new O2 port. If it fits, have the muffler shop replace the ports.
