Not good on the highway today

So i'm driving up to rhode island from new jersey. I'm on 287 north and i hear this sort of explosion, i'm like wtf. I hear all this gravel kind of noise hitting the bottom of my car. I think i'm just running over some rocks from a truck or something. Than 5 minutes later i hear it again and then my battery light comes on and i lose power steering. Then my ABS light comes on. I watch my volt meter drop from 14 to 10. So i throw on the hazards and pull over right under the exit 53 sign. I open the hood and all my belts are gone. One by crank is wrapped around into a knot. I rip is out and try to see what else happend. Now these belts are not that hold, maybe 20,000 miles on them. The crank pulley is loose now? I can move it around. The car still fires up fine, i did also have the AC running. So i call AAA and have it towed to a local shop. To add to my ruined day, my front bumper got ripped out because of the tow. However, thats the least of my worries right now, then can be fixed later, i'm wondering what the hell happened to my engine. Also my oil was pretty low. This sucks now because i have work tommorrow morniong at 8 in rhode island, i'm stuck in NJ, and they won't be able to look at my car until tuesday......

yea, watch the low oil.

Thats kinda like what happened to mine.
First the power steering belt, then low oil and some bottom end damage.

well its 1:25pm now and the shop called me. They said the cars all done. I'm like how can that be, what was wrong with it? The guy said we tighted the crank pulley and put all new belts on, $134.00. I'm wondering if they just put it back together without checking anything else. So i'm going to go over there in 10min which is an hour away. Hopefully, that was it and i can continue my trip today to RI.....

lol, forget that, my brother locked my dad's neighbor out of her house today by accident, and the locksmith came by, 10 minutes to get in through the back door, $65.
On topic, how's everything driving since the cheap fix?

Well i drove yesteday after i picked up the car 200 miles. Everything seems to be fine, but i'm worried that it could come loose again. What would make it come loose? Maybe some sort of vibration? I feel like any time i drive now it could happen again.
