I bought a 1994 Prelude that already has urethane suspension bushings installed. They are really noisy/creaky at slow speeds and I was wondering how and what I can lubricate them with to quiet them up.


Also, while on the subject of urethane, the stock rubber motor mounts are shot and I have the ES urethane inserts. Is it absolutely necessary that I replace the stock mounts before the urethane ones are installed? THanks

Silicone spray is your friend here. Do one bushing at a time to single them out and go from there.

With your mounts... Unless you are running an extreme handling car or a high HP car, stock is all you need.

yea silicone spray. Prothane has their own grease that I swear is just dielectric grease but idk. Thatll work too tho.
