Noise when braking

95 Prelude Si (automatic)

It all started with some brake work several months ago. Pads replaced, rotors resurfaced.

After that was done, I heard a quiet, squeaking-like noise from the right-passenger side wheel area that went away as soon as I touched the break pedal.

That went away after a couple of weeks.

About a month ago, another noise started happening. After the car's been out and warmed up, when I step on the brake (this is more pronounced when braking slowly rather than coming to a quick stop), there's this noise I can only describe as a cross between a metalic rubbing/clicking/scraping noise that speeds up or slows down based on wheel speed. When I come to a complete stop, it's followed by a loud CLICK (scrape?) as the car's weight shifts.

Two places have looked at the brakes and can't find anything. Any ideas?

I think i have the same problem, I can only hear that clicking when Im going slow. That noise started happening right after I changed my pads, its coming from both of the front brakes. I think my calipers are fvcked, but I can find the problem though.

I'm not exactly sure how to better describe it, but the noise is actually pretty disturbing... it sounds as though something is going to break!

The grinding noise could be from cheap pads... The Pep-Boys pads I used on the wifes Miata make this grinding noise.

The click you hear could be the pads shifting a little bit when you first press the brake.
