I have all receipts, Great Project Car for anyone that can do their own head work (selling whole, no space to part out). I have more pics if interested. Trying to get an idea of it's worth to decide whether to sell as is or fix and sell (fiance is buying buying something new).
i would say 1500 if you are lucky, 92 tossed motor, to old. I have seen 93's with a bad moter go for at the highest 1800. So good luck if you want to sell.
if youre selling that low, i might buy it, hit me up quick cause ill spend it all on my lude quickly.

I went to honda today to see about a trade in. I owe 4600$ still on it. 110,000 miles. Its a 92 S with JDM h22. Looks really really clean. At first they told me the would pay it off and give me enough for a down on a new Element. But then the property manager said he wouldnt do more then 4500$. I was like forget that. Im not paying 100$ to sell my car.

Well, 4500$ at a honda dealer for a 92. with a different from stock engine. I think thats pretty good. I mean it isnt enough but the dealers always try you rip you on trade in.

What you see Honda pricing their used cars at is nothing compared to what you will be able to sell it privately for. Kelly blue book gives two prices when you go to price your used car. One price is the "dealer" trade in and the other is the "private party" price. You'll get less on a trade in than you would get if you sold it privately. But either price is still way less than what the dealer will sell it for because they've gone through all the inspections and all the marketing and all that other rip off crap.
subex - did the dealer notice that the motor was a jdm? have you taken your car in for smog yet? i live in ca too and a friend is considering a jdm h22a swap but was wondering about that stuff
