no pressure in clutch pedal!!!

Ok, my clutch pedal on my 92 si has recently encountered problems. There is no pressure in the clutch pedal till almost to the floor. This causes it to stall a lot easier. Any advice or solutions would be much appreciated. Thanks

Check if there is any visible leaking from your clutch master cylinder. It could be that or the slave.

Well you should check your clucth fluid reservoir and if it is drained, you should check and bleed the slave cylinder.

I appreciate the help. It really sounds just like the symptoms with the slave cylinder. I'll have to find out were that is located tomorrow and how easy or complicated the fix will be. Thanks again!!!

If one is leaking just replace them both. The post about about the fluid is kinda dumb, if there is no fluid then it's leaking, it doesn't just disappear.

I've seen one fail after the other was replaced mainly because people left the old slave or master that didn't get replaced and the pressure blew 1 or the other out, just replace both master and slave.

Ok that's what I'll do. I am pretty close to a dumbass when it comes to the majority of car mechanics..so Any suggestions on how to go about this? Location, Difficulty (could I do this myself), if not about how much for the repair?

You could do it yourself if you have some tools, the only thing you might find annoying is they are both in tight spots but just a few bolts and you'll need a buddy to help you bleed the system of air when you're done.

hahaha yeah it wasn't bad. It was in a suckass spot though! Once I got it off and the new one on, my friend helped me bleed it. It worked! I'm rolling again and it is sooo much better than when I bought it a month ago. Used to stall starting to go in 1st or reverse so easily. Now...no worries!!!!! Thanks for the help guys.

it was the slave cylinder. I bought a new one for about 13 and replaced it. After that, I got a buddy to help me bleed it and get all of the air out. Clutch works perfectly..Better than before! Thank you guys for the help!
