Yes this is a VERY BAD THING. Get it fixed. Good brake pads/lines/rotors will only amplify the ability of your brakes to lock up.

Maybe you should read up about what happen to a friend of mine who had a sick brake setup and no ABS Click This

The rest of the pictures can be found here:My car is gone..

If he had had ABS, he may not have written off his car

When I bought my car the ABS light was on and it's still on so don't worry about it you can drive without ABS, it's just like driving a car without it

Huh? Yeah, only if you don't know what you're doing.

The picture of the guy in the woods proves nothing. He was probably going too fast BECAUSE he thought his killer brakes could surely save him.

You can't repeal the laws of physics.

No. He knows how to drive his car, he did many Autocross/track events. It was just a road he hadn't been on before, and the brakes immediately locked. He didn't think his killer brakes would save him, it's just when some ish happens and your first reaction is to slam the brake, ABS is a damn good thing to have. Sheesh...

i agree. i would suggest taking your car to a honda dealer and have them run their test equip. on it. they will be able to diagnose the problem. similar situation happened to me, ended up being my pump. luckily i was able to find a wreaked lude and pulled it out of that. i have also heard from a reputable shop that driving a car without abs does increase the chances of it locking up, since the system originally is designed to support it. i don't care if your the greatest driver in the world. if you driving in everyday weather, abs is something you want.

Your car uses Brakes to stop.
If something is stressed beyond its limits, it Breaks.

Damnit it people, didn't you go to school?
