Nitrous and H23VTEC

Well I'm in the process of buiding my h23 vtec and i plan on going either type s pistons w/o resleeving or arias/crower/je (dont know yet) w/ GE sleeves. What are the benefits to sleeving? I will probably go with crower stage 2 and basically there whole head package (retainers, springs, valves). My question is can I run a 100 shot safely? I know a guy in town who runs a 100 shot on a stock internal gsr motor and he beats the **** out of his car, he is a crazy man but he knows what he is doing. So i figure nitrous loves high compression, and im hopefully gonna be an NA beast, so what all would i need to run the 100 shot?
-Brady

btw I dont plan on going past 8000 rpms...

Benefits to sleeving? Well if you don't sleeve you can't run forged pistons. On top of that the ringlands on forged pistons are stronger, don't know how many nitrous people blow those though....

Also the forged pistons like high comp ones designed by endyn with anti-detonation reliefs and stuff would be very beneficial to a nitrous setup...

The main thing for nitrous is the rods if I am not mistaken, which I am not sure if you said you were upgrading...

The nitrous forum would probably know better how to build a car for nitrous. The fact that it's an H23 VTEC doesn't change the things that make a nitrous setup reliable...

How were you planning to raise your redline anyway?

You can't use a p13 with hondata. You need something like a p72 GS-R ecu.
