Nice Purple Lude in Detroit - Honda Prelude Forum

I was at the Detroit Airport on Saturday night, and a nice Purple 4th Gen pulled up to the airport baggage claim at the northwest terminal. I told the guy nice car, and he said thanks. I didn't really have time to talk, I was in a hurry. It also had Altezzas and an added exaust, but thats all I saw. Has anyone seen this car, or does it belong to anyone here, I would like some info on it.

Honda did not make a purple lude.

Technical name is Fresco Blue Pearl. Paint code B64P

Ah, thanks. I wonder how this color would look on a 5th gen with a Tan interior. Time for Photoshop!

You guys jump to conclusion way too fast... it could be that the guy repainted his car to a different color...

Stock at LACR my best was a 16.3, but the track is at elevation, and has one of the worst launch surfaces in the nation. With a rough convertion to sea level times, the 16.3 is about a 15.6 or so.

I don't see how you people think Fresco BLUE pearl looks like purple. Have you seen purple? It looks light blue and that's it. Not even light purple.

The paint color was called rosewood purple in canada.

i think it looks more purple than blue, but its still not exactly purple

well my purple car is faster than yours... Oh, and girls really seem to like it better than any other color lude.. So where do you go now making fun of my blue lude? And for a vtec, thats slow.. Glad I am in the 14s in my vtec...

yes i said my times were slow. Thanx anyway. ::sarcsastic thumbs up:: I was just playing about the purple. My friend has a fresco blue lude and we always call him skittles and his car purple just to piss him off. I took some pox of his car and in the pix it REALLY looks blue.
