New transparent Distributors

moroso now offers performance distributors with a transparent cap! I saw this in the new HCI magazine. This may be a worthless mod but it would still look pretty cool. Here are a few pictures:

Click on this link for more information:
http://www.moroso.com/catalog/catego...?CatCode=41300

Fits the following ludes:
- Performance Distributor, Honda Prelude 1992-95, (2.2L VTEC Internal Coil)
- Performance Distributor, Honda Prelude 1992-95, (2.2L VTEC or 2.3L Non-VTEC External Coil)

ooo, kinda cool i guess. As long as they don't fog up after using them for a while

i remember hearing something about these being available for our cars a while ago (years) but they were discontinued.... or something like that

Yeah, clear dist caps aren't new. But I guess it's cool to look at under your hood at night. *shrug*

I am guessing that it would be lit up then? Because as the rotor spins, it creates spark so am I right?

They do not make the caps separately for our cars. I noticed they have only made them for the B series engine. I am guessing and hoping they will come out with the cap by itself though....

Do these fit on 5th Gen? I thought the distributor of 4th and 5th Gen are the same. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Does anyone have confirmation on this? I was looking at the caps and rotors at majestic honda's site and the part #'s are the same for 92-01 H22A's. These seem kinda cool and i need a new cap and rotor anyway, but I wanna make sure there aren't any reasons they only specify 92-95, which as im sure you all know the 96 is a 4th gen as well, BUT is obdII, so i was thinking this is little more than an obdI-obdII emissions thing.?. Could this cause a c.e.l.?

I believe manchester honda sells just the cap for like $29 @ http://www.manhonda.com/ap/index.cfm...pid=1043&tab=0 , but they don't list the prelude just the civic, teg, and accord..., butdoes anyone know why moroso only specifies 92-95 though...prehaps i should be asking this in the 5th gen forum?
