New RSR Exhaust For Me

Hello everyone. I have just placed my order for a RSR Exhaust. I was just curious about the exhaust. I have done many searches on this, but i would like a direct answer for my question without searching anymore!

I know its quiet, but how quiet? When i drive, will i be able to hear it? When i turn on car will i hear it?

Hows the power gain? I have GReddy Headers and with exhaust i know i will get alot more power. Noticable power difference?

I would like some input from people who own RSR. Thanks in Advance!

im curious if anyone has a dyno on this exhaust. my hunch is that its not much of a performer. probably pretty close to stock i would think. so it just looks better. thoughts, comments, opinions?

A local luder dyno'ed his 1996 vtec with RSR exhaust , Greddy header , and AEM cai and netted 172 HP 138 TQ running lean.

Ask Willmbrk about this muffler .. he outbid me on Ebay .. $320 he paid .. !*#%*!%*!%

Anyways, he said its quiet as stock ... can't even hear it .. more engine noise than exhaust noise.

Maybe eventually I'll get the axle back and use my greddy sp piping but.. I just bought my SP so i'll use that for a while.

Let us know how it turns out!

If you're talking about the older stuff (not the brand new stuff) it's about as quiet as stock. The only difference is there is more bass in the sound.

Its louder than stock exhaust under 3k but its about the same over that. You do not hear the exhaust when driving around in the car.

Actually, my stock exhaust was louder than the RS*R. I loved the RS*R, and I would like to see if they will make one for the 3

Random question: How does the RS*r exhaust match up to the Apexi WS exhaust for h23s in terms of performance, looks and sound?

Older is full stainless uncoated. So is the new one, except the whole exhaust is ceramic coated (except the tip).

At idle, it's just about as quiet as stock (in volume). It does have a lower note overall. It doesn't drone at all and sounds real nice when you're gunning it. Definetly gives gains you can feel. But as far as actual hp/tq numbers, I dunno. I dyno'd, but I've got a leaking flexpipe.

Older is full polished stainless steel. The new has ceramic coated piping and canister, but a polished stainless steel tip. IIRC, willmbrk had a full stainless steel one.

Actually, the original RS*R's had 2 options, full stainless and ceramic coated with stainless tip.

Loud and RS*R do not go together. Greddy SP is a lot louder than the RS*R. If you have a stock exhaust, the RS*R sounds pretty close to that.
