New Prelude Owner..loads of stupid questions..really appreciate any help.
Guys, Firstly thanks for letting me post on the forum and I hope these stupid questions dont annoy or waste too much of your time but I really need your help!! I have bought a cheap Prelude as a runaround for my wife off a friend (neither of us are petrol heads so please excuse us)
It is a Jap imort to the UK and according to the V5 it is a Prelude 2.2 VTI (2150cc Automatic) It is on a K plate which I believe makes it 1992 and therefore a 4th Generation. Here come the dumb questions:
Is this a VTEC as it says VTI on the reg doc (and should the VTEC make any difference when driving, such as hitting a powerband on a motorbike...as it doesnt seem to?) It doesnt feel like 4 wheel steer yet lots seem to be..is it or shoul it be? The exhaust blows so am bidding on one on e-bay which I've just realise states for "Honda Prelude 2.2L V TEC 1992-1996 UK MODELS ONLY" Is there a major difference or am I going to buy a nice ornament!!! Any help would be MUCH appreciated and I promise not to hassle you guys again!!
