if it doesn't have a h22, that's the best mod for it.

or NOS if you want cheap power, anything else you aren't going to want to do unless you have the money to do it.

NOS? On a motor with 163k+ miles?

Yeah that'll end well lol

Well if you want cheap horsepower...might as well. OP was also going to rebuild the motor anyways. Plus if you don't have to try to blow out your motor, you can use a moderate amount and still get better results than cheap header, exhaust, cai. Those bolt on's won't even get you close to the power that NOS will give you per dollar.

yeah well i was just putting on my new headers but having trouble finding a gasket. it does have a vtec h22 witch made me really happy umm i was thinking of a turbo kit... but i didnt know whether or not i would have to do a full rebuild or if i could get away with the pistons, rods, valves, etc.i am only 16 so im not worried about haveing it ready till i can drive on my own. so i have time to save up for just about anything lol

I wouldn't put a turbo on unless you are either

1. paying a shop that knows what they are doing (most expensive)

2. have a lot of money and willing to buy everything needed

3. spend lots of time reading and researching (I mean more than looking at a few threads here) and then building your turbo kit.

You either do it right with turbo h22's or you screw things up pretty quickly. When I say do it right, it's probably going to conservatively cost you $4-6k to do things properly.
