New Moonroof rebuild cost?

Ok so i live in Richmond VA and the weather is getting hot as a bish now.... and my AC doesnt work (who's does!) and everytime i get into my car there's so much stale, hot air in there. I remember when i'd open my moon roof you'd feel it all escape..

My moon roof literally wont open, at all.. not even enough to line the bolts up to remove it... i tried the manual allen wrench thing, and it stil gets hung up. Because of this, i cant open it enough to see whats on the tracks, if anything. So with my tax return, i'm thinking of just biting the bullet, and taking it to Honda But im wondering if annnnnnyone has had something like this fixed there before, i don't wanna get raped!

thanks

I think you might get raped by the dealer....If you are a good DIY guy, I would get another sunroof (& associated parts from a junkyard)...you might also want to consider looking into fixing the AC (it'll probably be cheaper than the sunroof)

Or you can do what I did when a large tree branch crushed my sunroof...I got rid of it & started making it into a track car

i have both the lid and motor. I have a black lid as well as a freshly painted 01 EBP. $30 for either one plus shipping/3% paypal fees. Motor I will let go for $40 since its a PITA to take out. I also have pretty much the enire AC system from a 94 VTEC prelude (besides the core) if u need anything let me know i picked up a salvaged car that i'm currently parting out.
