New Member From Scottish Highlands.

Hello,
Firstly my name is john, i come from the highlands of scotland and have just bought what
i believe to be a 1995 - H22A JDM Prelude (DOHC VTEC) 10.6:1 CR.
It has no ABS or 4ws and has a black top engine which leads me to believe thats correct

The car is in quite reasonable condition, i know nothing about these so is there anything to i need look out for.

Also as a side note, someone has carried out a speedo conversion from japans
kph to UK mph, however the speedo reads very slow, is there any way to fix this ?

I did try searching, but didn't find anything to help.

could be
Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS)
Gauge Cluster (speedometer needle broken)
or wiring problem.

get a manual and test each component.

if you have driven the car then you know how well it handles and how responsive the H22 (your engine code) is. That is a very clean prelude. good luck with the speedometer problem. hard to figure it out until you dig into it.

Small update, i've removed the stupid blue LED side lights and fitted standard white ones.
Much less chav boy racer looking now.
Another quick question, where is the switch for the front fog lights ?
I can't find it anywhere, and the car has clear lenses on both sides of the front
direction indicators.
It's probably staring me in the face and i can't see it for looking at it.

if you have them, the switch should be by the sunroof switch.

From the look of your pictures you don't have any front fog lights so there won't be a switch for it.

If you're talking about the 4 piece lights on the bumper the inner ones are turn signals. The outer do nothing unless you have the optional turn illumination lights.
