New interior, volt stabiliser . . .

Gotta love Christmas, although I paid for all this stuff with my hard earned money

First off, I got some leather seat covers. I decided on two tone with Honda embossing on the front seats. Installing was a breeze, although, I have to be patient as the covers are still in the stretching phase and will settle into position fully with a bit of time. They look great and are so comfy. Before installing I hired a steam cleaning machine and gave the seats and carpets a good clean. They feel nice and fresh now.

There are still some creases that will stretch out. And I need to adjust the positioning of the drivers' seat.

OK, Part 2 of the Xmas mods. I ordered a Pivot Raizin volt stabiliser from BT-Revolution. Install was a breeze too. I used the new earth wires and hooked them up to the Alternator, Dizzy/Cyl Head, Bulkhead and the front bulk head. First impressions are that the idle is much more steady, even winding windows up and down or operating the sunroof doesn't affect the idle anymore. Haven't really given the stereo system heaps yet, but I am pretty sure there will be some improvement at high volumes.

Also resprayed the valve cover. Still need to use a dremel and polish the paint off the DOHC VTEC lettering.

I got the covers from eBay.com.au. They were local to me so I picked them up. Yeah, I am told that the covers should stretch out and fit properly as they settle into position.

So far the volt stabiliser has been great, I went on a 400kms country drive today and the throttle response is smoother. Seats are so comfy too, great for touring.
