New here

Hey guys, posting in this section because I didn't see an intro sections. I'm new here. Never really wanted to join a forum with the prelude for some reason. But figured why not. It's finally coming together. Expecting it to get painted over the holiday season. Did the 5 lug conversion myself. Plan on taking the front coilovers to a machine shop to see if I can't go an inch lower there.

Here's some bad pictures

I wouldn't go any lower than that.

Why do you say that? An inch never hurt anyone.

Well, first off, why are you wanting to see a machine shop about lowering the height of a coil-over setup? Are you asking them to cut springs?

If so, you're making a mistake out of the gate. If anything, just having the side moldings on the car will help the stance, or at least make it look a bit less ghetto.

good looking ride, just needs some work

I agree, I wouldn't go any lower. There comes a point your ball joints will crash through the wheel wells or camber kits (cause it would be a good idea to get one lowered that much).

If you want it slammed, well then I would suggest air suspension.

Haha, no I would never cut springs. They're Function & Form Type 2.5 Coilovers. However, technically they can adjust lower with out messing with spring rates, the threaded part is just to long. Thats what I need to get cut down.

I do need side skirts and a front lip though. Those are getting ordered before paint.

I don't want it completely slammed. My accord was completely slammed with probably an inch and half between the front of it and the ground. I'm not doing that again. I would never drop a performance car on air either.
