yea it can be done but i think theres more than just bolting it up when your thinking about making a frankinstien motor then your putin more compression on the h23 than its origanally made to handle so as far as it running yea its gonna run like a champ but as far as lasting like a honda motor should it wont you MIGHT get 50000 miles with just bolting it togather but then you gotta alotta work and alotta money you gotta spend

i did an h23 head on an f22 and i have 80k out of it so far.

but h22 on an h23 is very differant the bottom end on a h22 is balanaced so it can rev higher. also the h23 lacks the oil squirters all in all just do an h22 swap

so, what is your setup?

F22A1 bottom (or is it the F22A4?) and H23A1 head? How is that working out?

f22a1 bottom h23a1 head with h23 im and f22a1 header. but its from an accord ex so it is the madrel bent pipe like the oem h22 header

runs great pulls a hell of alot harder than the sohc
