new engine - Honda Prelude Forum

Hey I currently have a 93 prelude S with some basic bolt ons. I am looking to do an engine swap and was looking for suggestions on what engine is good for tuning and upgrading that has the most bang for the buck. what is a good racing engine because i have started doing some autocross racing and would like to replace this old engine.

jdm H22A is the "best" for the car, it can be had for $2000 for the full swap, NOT including labor and other misc replacement parts.

you can always swap to a jdm F22B or usdm H23A1 - a decent upgrade, significantly cheaper than the h22a

All I have to say is, you will like the jdm h22. It feels more powerful than my H22A4 in the SH
