new clutch questions

my current prelude is an auto S cuz i wanted a lude i we came across a deal i couldnt refuse. now i finally got a 5 speed Si. ive driven friends cars around the neighborhood but ive never really driven manual for long periods of time.... so this is going to be a learning experience for a lil while. i did a few searches but i couldnt really find what im looking for, and i know little about clutches.

I read alot about the ACT HDDS and a few others, but how to these compair to an OEM clutch? I will be doing some stop light type racing or a few runs on the track but nothing major. What clutch/flywheel combo might be best in my circumstance? Also, i have no idea how much the perfomrance aftermarket ones last compared to OEM.
Also, how much does it cost to get a shop to lighten a flywheel and what are the disavantages, If i take it to them will they know what to do?
Basically treat me as an idiot and lemme know some opinions on good clutches, where to get them, and prices.
