New clutch but probs?

Alright, I just replaced my clutch with another stock one.. yeah i know i need an act but anyways..

It grinds when i go into 3rd gear sometimes, sometimes it goes in just fine..

Is this just the new clutch or is there a problem........

I seriously doubt that the 3rd gear grind has anything to do wtih your clutch. You'll find this to be a common problem if you do a search. It's most likely your 3rd gear synchro, I'm having the same prob. Probably just a coincidence that it started happening after your new clutch.

They can just replace the synchro but since they have to pull the tranny I think it might be worth getting a full rebuilt. You can just double clutch into third for a while if you don't want to fix it immediatly.

i started having the same prob after i replaced my tranny fluid with mobil 1 synthetic go figure. what works for me is a slight hesitation as you go into third. don't force it in let it slide in and it should go in smoothly tey it maybe that will work for you.
