Well I ordered my neuspeed strut bar the other day, and it came in today, so I went and picked it up and installed it. I have to admit it was kind of a pita, because I really had to kinda force it on, but I guess that is normal, because it has to put outward force to stiffen the towers, but it's on and it looks real good. I got it at cost for a hundred bucks new in the box. Anyway thought I'd share. I wish neuspeed made the upper and lower for the rear as well, but I checked and they don't. I like neuspeed because they just plain work, none of this bling bling, just simple straight to the point does the job, know what I mean?

Yea I installed one on a 5th gen before took some work had to really push on one of the ends to get it over the shock tower studs. I think they could have made a little more adjustment fitting it and still have the same performance.

I put mine on after a bad suspension install day. I was pissed and it wasn't going to fit so I just started wailing on it with a hammer and then threw it against the ground. Went on like butta

am i the only one who had no problems , although i did have to mess with it a little, but it was more of a tug then bolt kind of operation, although the suspension wasnt attached to the car at the time. is that what made the difference? or am i just a huge guy

$100 is a pretty good deal. Where did you get it? Did you notice any difference on handling after installing it?

has anyone had trouble installing the upper rear strut bar, I bought front and rear, I forgot the name of it, I think the brand is Number 1 or something, but it came from Japan, and they are good quality sturdy bars. I got the front one on--it was a PITA, and I tried to get the back on, but it wouldnt go, it seems like I need to either cut some off the mounting brackets because the rear bar will NOT sit flush... anyone had problems with the rear? thx
I helped my bro. get the bar 3yrs. ago @ cost.. which was $80 brand new. I had a friend who was part owner of a shop so that was the best deal then. I guess cost just went up. Other than that, he really likes the bar and it was a pain to install.
I never had a problem installing mine. Well, except I lost a nut and I had to go to the junk yard to pick up another nut. I paid $65 for my chrome bar used.
i didnt have any problems whatsoever, just set it on the bolts and gave a little tug to the end that didnt just slide on, and with the little tug it went right into place... and no im not buff at all... im 6'4 about 160 lbs. i eat and eat and eat all day long and cant gain a single damn pound.

Wow alot of people liked this thread, ha ha cool, anyway heres my pics. I do like that it was hard to put on, because I know that there is alot of tension on my strut towers causing them to be stiffer.
Here ya go,
by the way if anybody wants to trade my red wires, for there blue wires let me know, I have way to many colors in my engine bay. ha ha
