Neuspeed front bar. vtec or no?

I searched and I found a thread that almost answered my question. I would post in that thread, but it was over a year old and I know how people hate it when you bring topics back from the dead.

I have a 92 Si (+abs) with the h23. I want to eventually (by spring) swap in a jdm h22. I want to get a Neuspeed front stb. I know that the 2 bars are different, but can I buy the one for the vtec and put it on with the h23 and have it still fit when I swap? Is it just the clearance issue with the abs controller that makes the bars differ?

Thanks,
Mark

Edit: I also gather from my research that Neuspeed doesn't make a rear stb...am I correct? If that be the case, what's a good rear bar to use. I'd like to install them at the same time. I've heard good about the Spoon bars...

If you're gonna do the swap, definitely get the VTEC Neuspeed Front STB. The VTEC head stick up higher in the engine bay, than the H23 head. Thus, the VTEC bar is designed to be higher in the engine bay. The Si Neuspeed Front STB will not clear the VTEC engine valve cover. In this case, it has nothing to do with the ABS.

well the non-vtec one will fit with the vtec engine... it's just that you'll have a very hard time removing the oil cap.
