Neon Kits on our 4G's

Ok so I'm going on this neon kit tangent where I really want a neon kit on my ride... I dont wanna hear your fast n furious jokes...... haha, I liked that movie but I wanted neons way before the movie came out...

So I wanna know if anyone has successfully installed it on their 4G ride, and if they got any tips, PICS, or whatever... Thanks

why don't you ask vin diesel... j/k man neons look clean under cars at night ...neons were out way before fast and the furious was even in the makes....they just recently started becoming big here...of course now that the movie came out everything with 4 wheels is being covered in stickers and autozone exhaust tips. if you find a pic let me know kruelntentionz@aol.com

hey hey.. chill out guys! Just remember its his car and his taste. He didn't ask for you opinions so please keep them to your self. (if you haven't done so read the Forum Rules)

Jape... check the measurements for the prelude Streetglow sells a kit which includes 2-54" bulbs for the sides, 2-30" bulbs for the front & rear. if that's too long you can buy the tubes separate.
As far as pics I don't know of any, try searching the setups on www.hondaprelude.com

Try to mount them in your wheel well. Looks very *distinct*.
Use zip ties for trial placement, and secure them after you got them where you think you want them.

You should also check how tough they are. There are these things called rocks and stuff on the road. Those move at high speeds under your car. Can smash bulbs.

Investigate EL and Cold Cathode too.

I don't have a prob with you doing it, but PLEASE mount them so you cannot see the bulbs. I think it looks so ridiculously retarded when you can see the bulbs themselves, not to mention the fact that they will get ripped off sooner or later.

Other wise I have seen one other 4th gen with neons and it was pretty cool lookin, just waay too much attention for me.

Ii have some on the interior. If you get the ones for under the car put all four on. I see cars drving around that only have one under the front bumper and IMO that doens't look to good.

There's a lot of opposition to the Neon Kits... WOW... I didn't think it'd be this bad......... do you guys really see riced out rides with neons? To be honest with you, I have never seen a car with neons around here, I'd be the first... I think its a cool little mod.... I define RICE as Looking Fast and being slow.... Like if I had a stock ride and put AEM/Enkei/NOS/NITTO stickers all over it... I dont even think its Ricey to put the stickers on if you actually have those parts in your ride, but to each their own.

my opoinion would b that neons may look good on low riders. Almost every weekend i c a low rider civic with a bangging system crazy neons all around inside+out and 18" nice wheels+molded body kit with major body modifications and taill+headlight conversions.. That civic is known for being slow, but receives alot of props from many people for style and looks. That kid never races and has nothing to prove to anyone but instead just cruzes around the spot looking good. A real attention gatter. There r diffrent styles and preferences people go for with their cars.

ive always thought they were kinda "tacky"..... but deep down..... if i had the extra money.. i'd get em =] lol...

Deep down, if put on CORRECTLY they are kinda freakn cool hehe... even back when i was in highschool and they were the cool thign to do back then i liked em.

But now i think i'd not do neons.. but rather the Diodes.. the SUPER white ones... place about..6 .. 4 in each wheel well pointing out through the rims.. and 1 under each side w/ a "mirror" to widen it. Could look kinda neat

But... thats like.. THE last thing in the world i'd do =] but a neat thought.

Is that your CAR in that pic? Because Surely those are Altezzas on the rear...

And who in the hell says I'd have the neons on while I'm racing at a track?

Anyway I was just asking for info, not opinions (like P2W said) haha...

Hey now. Everyone has different tastes.
I used to diss peoples **** cuz I couldn't afford it.
A car with neons will get more attention so they
were jelous ppl weren't lookin at their cars

I could be wrong.

I think under body neons look cool. It gives your
car a pimp glow. It's all show, but I don't comb
my hair to move faster. I like to look good.

Hahha......... with that same mindset, RICE would be like wearing Fake Oakleys and saying they're real..... Or putting 8 pairs of pants on when you only need one.... hahaha ... or glueing a NIKE logo on your SPALDING shoes...

Hehehe, your right.

It's a shame that people see cars goin around with neons
and they assume that the driver got the neons to show off
his cars speed instead of getting them for the looks.

Not everyone with a nice lookin car thinks their car is fast.
