i was lookin around and i think i found a way, might be easier than mounting those neon tubes in the back on ur dash, its flexible neon tubing, some guy modded his keyboard like so:

they got it from

but its a london company, so im not really sure about shipping and cost , but my question was, what kind of electrical setup would you need to power these things? thx

I don't think that it is bright enough. Maybe it is i dunno

The easiest place would probably have to be Street glow. They have neon lighting.

From the site:"Flexible electroluminescent lighting." EL is not as bright as CCRT lighting so the results might be less than impressive.
